God has called us to a life of worship where we are to be living sacrifices seeking to walk out His perfect will (Romans 12: 1-2) as we walk in the good works He has prepared for us ahead of time (Eph 2:10). As those who belong to Jesus, we seek to practice the spiritual disciplines of studying God’s word (Josh 1:8, 2 Tim 2:15), prayer (1 Thess 5:17, Luke 18:1, Phili 4:6-7) and worship (Ps 95:6, Ps 29:2, Heb 13:15) daily. Complete biblical worship is so much more than just a music ministry, yet music in worship is such an important part of a life of worship as we see in scripture God commands us over and over again to sing a new song before Him (Ps 33:3, Ps 96:1, Ps 98:1, Ps 149:1).

Our desire is to sing God honoring psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs that are true and in-line with biblical theology and doctrine (Eph 5:19, Col 3:16). We must have a proper biblical view of our Triune God, (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) in order for us to rightly view ourselves in light of biblical teaching and our relationship with God. Although we do want to play excellently before the Lord, our aim is never entertainment but only to honor God in true, spiritual worship. This is why what we sing is so important and must be only biblical truth showing the multifaceted, Holy, and perfect character of God. Our desire is to be true worshipers who worship our Heavenly Father in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:23-24).
